In our final episode of the Blind Faith series, we question the proclamation that there are no alternatives to capitalism. First, we look at how this claim could be seen as a claim of absolute, top-down power. Next, we look at how the crucifixion of Jesus could be seen as an attempt to squelch the hope of alternatives. We consider the way of the cross as an alternative Good News to the status quo Good News of Caesar.
